Why Do We Do What We Do ?

01.

To Give Back to the Community

“As a South Sudanese refugee who found safety and support in Uganda, I’ve experienced firsthand the kindness of strangers—whether through shelter, food, or education. Now that I’m in a position to help, I want to give back to the communities that welcomed me, ensuring others receive the same lifeline I did.”

02.

To Support Fellow Refugees and Displaced People

“Having lived through the struggles of displacement—scarcity of food, lack of education, and the pain of starting over—I understand the unique challenges refugees face. My charity would provide direct aid, mentorship, and hope to those rebuilding their lives, just as I once had to.”

03.

To Empower Youth Through Education

“Education was my ladder out of hardship, but many refugee children never get that chance. I want to create scholarships, school supplies drives, and mentorship programs to help young people like me dream bigger and break the cycle of poverty.”
